Getting Things Gnome! is an organizer for the GNOME desktop environment.

GTG focuses on usability and ease of use. Its main objective is to provide a simple, powerful and flexible organization tool to the GNOME desktop environment.
GTG uses a very handy text edition system for task creation and edition. The task editor can automatically recognize metadata such as tags and subtasks only by the use of a very simple syntax. If you wanna know more about this, please read Getting Started With GTG.
GTG is developed in python and was started by Lionel Dricot (ploum) and Bertrand Rousseau. They were quickly joined by an enthusiast community of contributors (top commiters).

GTG is still in a early stage of development but is already packed with lots of functionalities. For the next releases, we envision a lot more and we'd like to provide the best user experience that a user ever felt when working with an organization tool. Tight integration with the GNOME desktop environment is also amongst our priorities.
